What it does
Turns every newly filed contract into a tracked renewal. It reads the agreement, finds the renewal or expiration date, and books a calendar event well before that date so you have time to renegotiate or cancel.
When to use it
When auto-renewing vendor agreements, SaaS subscriptions, or leases quietly roll over because nobody tracked the notice window. Best for finance or procurement teams that want a single calendar view of upcoming renewals.
How it works
- 1A new contract added under Dropbox `/Contracts/Clients` triggers the run.
- 2OpenAI reads the document and extracts the renewal date, notice-period length, and contract value.
- 3A branch skips documents where no renewal date is found, so one-off agreements don't create noise.
- 4The workflow computes a reminder date 30 days before the renewal (or before the notice deadline if one exists).
- 5A Google Calendar event is created on that date with the counterparty, value, and a link back to the Dropbox file.
