  • LogicCompute notice deadline from renewal date
  • LogicDates valid and in the future?
  • OutputCreate calendar reminders for notice + renewalGoogle CalendarGoogle Calendar

What it does

Turns the dates buried inside signed contracts into calendar reminders you will not miss. When a contract is filed in Dropbox, the workflow extracts its renewal date and required notice period, then books Google Calendar events for the notice deadline and the renewal date itself.

When to use it

Use it when contracts auto-renew or require advance written notice to cancel, and missing a window costs real money. Instead of trusting a tracker spreadsheet, every executed agreement self-schedules its own deadlines at filing time.

How it works

  1. 1A new contract PDF in Dropbox triggers the run.
  2. 2OpenAI extracts renewal date, term length, and the required notice-period length.
  3. 3A logic step computes the notice deadline by subtracting the notice period from the renewal date.
  4. 4A logic step confirms both dates are valid and in the future.
  5. 5The output creates Google Calendar events for the notice deadline and the renewal, each titled with the counterparty and linked to the Dropbox file.
