How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerScheduled sweep (weekly)
  • ActionList archive and read each PDF certificate expiryDropboxDropbox
  • LogicBucket as valid, expiring soon, or expired
  • ActionBuild digest of at-risk documentsShell
  • OutputPost expiring-certificate digest to SlackSlack

What it does

Periodically re-scans already-archived signed PDFs to catch certificates that have since expired or are about to. Because a signature valid at signing time can rest on a cert that later lapses, this sweep keeps your archive's trust status current and surfaces documents that may need re-signing.

When to use it

Use it monthly or quarterly when you maintain a large signed-document archive and need ongoing assurance that the underlying certificates remain valid, not just a one-time check at ingest.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule triggers the sweep (e.g. weekly).
  2. 2The archive folder is listed and each PDF is read for its certificate expiry date.
  3. 3A logic step buckets each document as valid, expiring within the threshold, or already expired.
  4. 4Expiring and expired documents are collected into a digest.
  5. 5The digest is posted to Slack so owners can re-sign affected files.
