What it does

Handles the attendees who never pre-registered. When the front-desk form submits a walk-in's name, company, and ticket type to a webhook, the flow generates a badge on the spot, stores it in Dropbox for the desk printer to grab, and adds the person to the master Airtable roster so your headcount and badge records stay complete.

When to use it

Use it at the registration desk on event day for last-minute and door registrations. It closes the gap where walk-ins otherwise get a hand-written badge and never make it into the official attendee list.

How it works

  1. 1The check-in form posts attendee details to the webhook trigger.
  2. 2A badge image is generated immediately with the walk-in's name, company, and ticket-type band.
  3. 3The badge PNG is uploaded to the same Dropbox folder the desk printer monitors.
  4. 4The attendee is appended to the Airtable roster, marked as a walk-in, with the badge link attached.
  5. 5The webhook returns the Dropbox badge URL so the desk app can print without a refresh.
