Evidence freshness sweep with auto-recapture of stale controls
Weekly, scans the Notion evidence log for controls whose latest capture is older than their required interval, recaptures the expired ones, refreshes their records.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekly freshness-sweep schedule fires
- ActionRead evidence log and capture datesNotion
- LogicSelect controls past freshness window
- ActionRecapture stale control screenshotsBrowserbase
- ActionUpdate S3 archive and Notion recordsAWS S3
- OutputReport refreshed and gap controls to SlackSlack
What it does
Keeps your evidence library from going stale. Each week it reads the Notion evidence database, flags any control whose most recent capture is past its freshness window (for example 90 days), automatically recaptures those controls, updates their records and S3 archive, and reports anything that still can't be captured.
When to use it
When you have dozens of controls on different cadences and need to guarantee no evidence quietly ages out before an audit, without manually tracking every control's last-captured date.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule fires.
- 2Notion is queried for all evidence rows and their last-captured dates.
- 3A logic step selects controls past their freshness threshold.
- 4Browserbase recaptures each stale control and the image is uploaded to S3.
- 5The Notion row's capture date and link are updated to the fresh values.
- 6A Slack message reports counts of refreshed controls and any that failed to capture for follow-up.
