How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerWeekly schedule starts report
  • ActionQuery flags past expiry by teamPostgreSQLPostgres
  • LogicGroup flags by owning team
  • LogicDerive suggested action per flag
  • ActionEmail each team its digestGmailGmail
  • OutputPost org-wide summary to SlackSlack

What it does

Produces a weekly per-team digest of feature flags that have blown past their expiry date, with each flag's current rollout percentage, age, and a recommended action (remove, promote, or kill). Each owning team gets only their own flags.

When to use it

Use it when flag cleanup keeps slipping because no one feels ownership. A regular, scoped digest puts each team's stale flags in front of the people who can act.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule starts the report.
  2. 2It queries Postgres for all flags past expiry, joined to their owning team and rollout state.
  3. 3A grouping step buckets flags by owning team.
  4. 4For each team it derives a suggested action per flag from rollout percentage and evaluation trend.
  5. 5It composes a formatted digest per team.
  6. 6It emails each team their digest via Gmail and posts an org-wide summary to Slack.
