FX Drift Agent with Hedge Recommendation Brief
An agent monitors daily FX exposure drift across currencies, reasons about which breaches warrant action versus noise, drafts a recommended hedge action per currency.

What it does
This agent-driven workflow goes beyond flagging breaches: it interprets them. Each day it reviews per-currency exposure drift from Snowflake, weighs each breach against recent volatility and existing hedges, and produces a short recommendation (hedge now, watch, or hold) with rationale. It files the brief in Notion and posts a summary to Slack for treasury sign-off.
When to use it
Use it when raw threshold alerts create noise and you want a reasoned first-pass recommendation that a human approves rather than a wall of breaches. It compresses analyst triage while keeping the decision with treasury.
How it works
- 1A morning schedule starts the run.
- 2A Snowflake query returns exposure, hedge positions, and trailing volatility by currency.
- 3An HTTP webhook pulls current FX rates for revaluation.
- 4The agent reasons over each currency, classifying the drift and drafting a recommended action with rationale.
- 5A Notion page is created as the dated hedge-recommendation brief.
- 6A Slack summary links the brief and tags treasury for approval.
