FX Weekly Hedge-Coverage Report to CFO
Each week joins Snowflake receivables with outstanding hedge positions, calculates coverage ratios and drift per currency.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekly pre-review schedule
- ActionJoin receivables to hedge positionsSnowflake
- ActionFetch week-end spot and forward ratesHTTP webhook
- LogicCompute coverage ratios and drift
- LogicBuild ranked HTML coverage table
- OutputEmail digest to CFO via OutlookOutlook
What it does
Once a week this workflow reconciles open receivables against your booked forward and option hedges, computes the hedge coverage ratio per currency, and emails a clean digest to the CFO via Outlook. It surfaces which currencies are under-hedged, over-hedged, or drifting toward a threshold breach.
When to use it
Use it for the recurring treasury review where leadership needs a single, consistent coverage snapshot rather than ad-hoc spreadsheets. It standardizes the weekly hedging conversation and creates an auditable trail of coverage over time.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule fires before the treasury review.
- 2A Snowflake query joins open receivables to outstanding hedge notional by currency.
- 3An HTTP webhook pulls week-end spot and forward rates for revaluation.
- 4A logic step computes coverage ratio, residual unhedged exposure, and week-over-week drift per currency, sorting by risk.
- 5A formatting step builds an HTML table flagging currencies below the target coverage band.
- 6An Outlook email delivers the digest to the CFO and treasury distribution list.
