CONTENT CREATION
Reposition product copy against a scraped competitor listing
On demand, scrape a competitor product page, compare it to your own listing, and generate sharper differentiated descriptions plus a fresh hero image saved to Airtable.

What it does
This workflow rewrites a product's copy to win against a specific competitor. You trigger it with your product's Airtable record ID and a competitor product URL. The flow scrapes the competitor page with Firecrawl to extract their title, claims, features, and price framing, pulls your current listing from Airtable, then asks an AI step to identify gaps and differentiators and write a revised description that leans into your genuine advantages — without copying their language. It also generates a new hero image that visually emphasizes the differentiating feature. The revised copy and image URL are saved back to your Airtable record as a proposed draft for review, alongside a short rationale of what changed and why.
When to use it
Use it when a competitor is outranking or out-converting you on a specific product and you want a targeted, evidence-based rewrite rather than a generic refresh. It fits merchandisers and growth marketers doing competitive copy passes one SKU at a time, where the positioning decision matters more than volume.
How it works
- 1A manual trigger supplies your Airtable record ID and the competitor URL.
- 2Firecrawl scrapes the competitor page into structured fields.
- 3The flow loads your current listing from Airtable.
- 4AI compares both and writes differentiated copy with a change rationale.
- 5A new hero image is generated to highlight the differentiator.
- 6The draft copy, rationale, and image URL are written back to Airtable for review.
