SUMMARIZATION
Route Loom walkthrough action items to the right team in Coda
Transcribes a finished Loom walkthrough, extracts action items with owners, and routes each item to the matching team's section in Coda.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew Loom recording finishesLoom
- ActionFetch Loom transcriptLoom
- ActionExtract action items with owner teamsOpenAI
- LogicBranch by owner confidence
- ActionFile items into team sectionsCoda
- OutputReturn filed + triage summaryCoda
What it does
Reads a Loom walkthrough, pulls out every action item the speaker mentions, infers the owning team for each, and files them into the correct team section of a Coda doc. Items with no clear owner land in a triage view so nothing falls through.
When to use it
Use it when walkthroughs span multiple teams (eng, design, QA, support) and you want each team to see only their tasks without a human splitting the list by hand. Best for cross-functional reviews and demo recordings.
How it works
- 1A finished Loom recording triggers the flow.
- 2The transcript is fetched from Loom.
- 3OpenAI extracts a list of action items, each with a candidate owner team and confidence.
- 4A logic step branches: confidently-owned items route to their team table; low-confidence or unowned items route to a triage view.
- 5Each item is written to the appropriate Coda table section.
- 6A summary of what was filed and what needs triage is returned.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.

- 3Connect CodaDocs, packs, automations.

- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
