Stale SOP Refresh from Re-Recorded Loom

What it does

Keeps existing SOPs in sync with reality. When someone re-records the Loom for a process that already has a documented runbook, this compares the new transcript against the live doc, identifies which steps changed, and patches just those sections — updating screenshots and bumping the doc's version note rather than rewriting the whole page.

When to use it

Use it when processes drift and SOPs silently rot. Instead of full rewrites, you get targeted, auditable updates whenever a refreshed Loom lands. Ideal for compliance-sensitive ops where you need to know exactly what changed and when.

How it works

  1. 1A re-recorded Loom carrying an existing-doc tag triggers the run.
  2. 2The flow fetches the new transcript and the current Confluence page content.
  3. 3A logic step diffs the two and decides whether changes are material enough to update.
  4. 4If material, an agent rewrites only the affected steps and regenerates their screenshots.
  5. 5It updates the Confluence page in place, appends a dated revision note, and preserves unchanged sections.
  6. 6A summary of what changed is posted to the doc owner.
