Reactivate a lost deal when your champion changes jobs
Detects when a former champion from a closed-lost account starts a new role and creates a re-engagement task plus a warm-intro brief, so the rep follows the person, not just…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerScheduled champion scan
- ActionLoad champion contacts from closed-lost dealsHubSpot
- ActionSearch Exa for job or employer changeExa
- LogicConfirm new employer differs from record
- ActionCreate re-engagement task in AsanaAsana
- OutputNotify rep in SlackSlack
What it does
When the person who loved your product moves to a new company, you have two plays at once: re-pitch the old account under new ownership, and pitch the champion's new company where they already trust you. This workflow catches the move and sets up both.
When to use it
Ideal when your wins depend on an internal champion and deals stall when that person leaves or the buyer goes quiet. Use it if you track contacts in HubSpot and run structured follow-up in Asana.
How it works
- 1On a schedule, the workflow loads champion contacts tied to closed-lost deals in HubSpot.
- 2For each contact it searches Exa for a recent title or employer change.
- 3A logic step confirms the new employer differs from the one on record before proceeding.
- 4It drafts a short brief: who moved, where to, the original loss reason, and the suggested play for both accounts.
- 5It creates an Asana task assigned to the rep with the brief attached and a due date.
- 6It posts a Slack heads-up so the rep can act the same day.
