What it does

Tracks how the vocabulary in your category changes by scanning Brave Search results on a weekly cadence. It pulls fresh result titles and snippets for your seed queries, isolates terms that did not appear in prior weeks, and records each new term with its first-seen date and source query in Airtable.

When to use it

Use it when you need an early-warning signal for category language drift — a competitor coining a new label, an analyst phrase catching on, or a feature category getting a new name. Ideal for positioning, messaging, and SEO teams who must not be the last to adopt the words buyers are already using.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule fires the run.
  2. 2Brave Search executes each seed query and returns current titles and snippets.
  3. 3An OpenAI step normalizes text and extracts candidate terms and noun phrases.
  4. 4A logic step compares candidates against the existing Airtable term list and keeps only never-seen terms.
  5. 5New terms are written to Airtable with first-seen date, source query, and example snippet for review.
