How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerWebhook receives candidate termsHTTP webhook
  • ActionLook up current volume in Brave SearchBraveBrave Search
  • LogicCompare to baseline, keep only spikes
  • OutputPost spike alert to SlackSlack

What it does

When a watchlist term is submitted through a webhook (from a form, a CRM tag, or a teammate's quick-add), this workflow runs a Brave Search lookup on the spot, compares the result volume to a stored baseline for that term, and decides whether it counts as a spike. Only spiking terms trigger a Slack message with the count, delta, and the top three result titles.

When to use it

Use it for fast, ad-hoc validation — someone hears a phrase on a sales call or sees it on a competitor site and wants to know if it is actually trending right now, not next week. Keeps Slack quiet by alerting only on real movement.

How it works

  1. 1A webhook receives one or more candidate terms.
  2. 2Brave Search returns current result volume and top titles for each.
  3. 3A logic step compares each term to its baseline and filters to spikes only.
  4. 4Spikes that pass the threshold post to a Slack channel with count, delta, and links.
