What it does

For each new image added to a Google Drive folder, this workflow generates an alt-text caption plus a set of search keywords with HuggingFace models, writes the Drive file description, and logs a searchable entry in Airtable.

When to use it

Use it when assets live in Google Drive and the real pain is discoverability: people can't find the right image because nothing is described or tagged. It makes every asset findable by both Drive search and your Airtable catalog.

How it works

  1. 1A new image in the watched Google Drive folder triggers the run.
  2. 2The file is downloaded from Drive.
  3. 3A HuggingFace image-to-text model produces a natural-language caption.
  4. 4A HuggingFace classification or zero-shot model derives search keywords from the image and caption.
  5. 5The Drive file's description is updated with the caption for native search.
  6. 6A searchable record (caption, keywords, link) is created in Airtable.
