Monday WIP guardrail: CEO-drafted rebalance plan for overloaded columns
Before standup it detects overloaded Monday columns, then has the Hive CEO agent read the stuck items, reason about which to defer, reassign, or unblock, and post a recommended…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerPre-standup schedule fires
- ActionPull items, owners, priorities, and ages from Mondaymonday.com
- LogicDetect columns over their WIP limit
- ActionCEO agent drafts a rebalance plan for each breach
- OutputPost approvable plan to Slack for the ChairmanSlack
What it does
This goes past flagging the breach to proposing a fix. When a Monday column is over its WIP limit, the CEO agent inspects the items sitting in that column, weighs age, owner load, and priority, and drafts a concrete rebalance plan recommending which items to defer, reassign, or escalate for unblocking.
When to use it
Use it when simply naming overloaded columns is not enough and you want a first-draft decision the team can react to in standup. The agent does the triage thinking; the Chairman approves or edits.
How it works
- 1A pre-standup schedule fires.
- 2The workflow pulls items, owners, priorities, and ages from the Monday board and finds columns over their WIP limit.
- 3For each breached column, the CEO agent reviews the parked items and reasons about the best rebalancing moves.
- 4Logic assembles the recommendations into a clear, approvable plan with explicit item-level actions.
- 5The plan posts to Slack with approve and edit prompts so the Chairman can act before standup.
