Agent-triaged remediation for chronically stale laptops
For laptops that have ignored multiple nudges, an agent reviews each device's history, decides the right next action (final email, ticket, or quarantine recommendation).
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerSchedule fires for chronic offenders
- ActionPull stale device + nudge historyPostgres
- LogicAgent decides per-device next action
- ActionSend agent-drafted final noticeOutlook
- OutputOpen tracked Linear issue for ITLinear
What it does
Handles the hard tail of patch compliance: devices that stayed overdue despite repeated nudges. An agent pulls each stale device's nudge history and overdue duration, reasons about the appropriate next step, drafts a personalized final-notice email to the owner with the self-service fix link, and opens a Linear issue so IT can track the device to resolution or quarantine.
When to use it
Use this when automated reminders have stopped working and each remaining device needs judgment rather than a templated blast. Good for the small set of chronic offenders that demand individualized handling.
How it works
- 1A schedule fires the workflow for devices overdue past the chronic threshold.
- 2A Postgres query returns each stale device with its full nudge and escalation history.
- 3The agent evaluates history and overdue severity to choose the next action per device.
- 4An action sends the agent-drafted final-notice email through Outlook with the fix link.
- 5The output step opens a tracked Linear issue assigned to IT with the device, owner, and recommended action.
