Daily sweep for overdue ClickUp blockers and digest to MS Teams
Each morning scans ClickUp for tasks that are now overdue and are blocking at least one other task.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekday morning schedule
- ActionQuery overdue ClickUp tasksClickUp
- LogicKeep only tasks blocking others
- LogicRank by downstream impact and days overdue
- OutputPost ranked blocker digest to MS TeamsMicrosoft Teams
What it does
Once a day it sweeps ClickUp for any task that is past its due date AND is linked as a blocker to another task. It rolls them into one prioritized digest, ordered by how many downstream tasks each blocker is holding up, and drops it in an MS Teams channel.
When to use it
Use it when event triggers are too noisy and you'd rather have a calm, once-a-day rollup of what is actually stuck across teams. Ideal for a delivery lead or PMO who runs a morning triage and wants the worst blockers surfaced first.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires every weekday morning.
- 2The workflow queries ClickUp for overdue tasks in the tracked spaces.
- 3A filter keeps only tasks that have a 'blocking' link to one or more other tasks.
- 4Each surviving blocker is scored by downstream impact (count of tasks it blocks) and days overdue.
- 5The ranked list is formatted into one digest card and posted to the MS Teams channel for triage.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect ClickUpDocs + tasks + chats in one workspace.
- 2Connect Microsoft TeamsChannels, chats, files.
- 3Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
