PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Close the loop when a Linear epic ships: update Monday and log to Notion
When a Linear epic is marked done, it flips the linked Monday roadmap item to Done and appends a dated entry to a Notion shipped-roadmap changelog.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerLinear epic moved to DoneLinear
- LogicRequire roadmap label + Monday link
- ActionSet Monday item to Done with ship datemonday.com
- ActionAppend entry to Notion changelogNotion
- OutputAnnounce ship in SlackSlack
What it does
Handles the completion moment of a roadmap item end to end. The instant an epic reaches Done in Linear, the Monday roadmap reflects it and a permanent changelog entry is written in Notion, giving the team a clean record of what actually shipped and when.
When to use it
Use it when you need an auditable shipped-work log for stakeholder updates or release notes, and you want the Monday roadmap to mark completion without anyone remembering to do it.
How it works
- 1A Linear webhook fires when an epic's state changes to a completed status.
- 2A filter confirms the epic carries a roadmap label and a linked Monday item ID.
- 3The flow sets the Monday item's status column to Done and stamps the actual completion date.
- 4It appends a row to a Notion changelog database with the epic title, ship date, owner, and link.
- 5It posts a short ship announcement to the roadmap Slack channel celebrating the completion and linking the Notion entry.
