PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Daily audit of dependency drift between Monday and Linear
Runs every morning to compare blocking relationships on the Monday roadmap against Linear issue links, then posts a Slack digest of mismatches that need a human to reconcile.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekday morning schedule
- ActionPull roadmap items and dependencies from Mondaymonday.com
- ActionPull issues and relations from LinearLinear
- LogicDiff and classify mismatches
- OutputPost reconciliation digest to SlackSlack
What it does
Every weekday it reconciles the two systems and surfaces where they disagree: roadmap items marked blocked with no matching Linear relation, Linear blocks with no roadmap counterpart, and items where the linked issue was deleted. The result is a single triage digest instead of silent drift.
When to use it
Use it when event-based syncs occasionally miss edits made directly in one tool, and you want a safety net that catches divergence before planning meetings.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger fires each weekday morning.
- 2An action pulls all roadmap items and their dependency columns from Monday.
- 3An action pulls the corresponding issues and relations from Linear.
- 4A logic step diffs the two sets and classifies each mismatch by type and severity.
- 5The output posts a grouped Slack digest with deep links to each conflicting item and issue so an operator can fix them by hand.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect monday.comVisual work management for teams.
- 2Connect LinearIssues, projects, cycles, triage.
- 3Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
