Real-Time Competitor Price Drop Alert
Polls a single competitor's pricing page on a tight cadence and fires an urgent Slack alert the moment a headline price or tier amount drops below the previous value.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerShort-interval schedule triggers check
- ActionFirecrawl scrapes page, extracts plan pricesFirecrawl
- ActionLoad last recorded prices from CodaCoda
- LogicProceed only if any plan price dropped
- ActionSave new prices to CodaCoda
- OutputPost urgent price-drop alert to SlackSlack
What it does
It watches one high-priority competitor's pricing page frequently, extracts the numeric price for each plan, and compares against the last seen amounts. When any plan's price falls, it immediately sends a targeted Slack alert tagging the responsible owner so pricing or sales can react fast.
When to use it
Use it when a specific rival's pricing directly threatens an active deal or renewal cycle and you need to know within hours, not next Monday. Best for a single must-watch competitor rather than a broad field.
How it works
- 1A short-interval schedule triggers the check.
- 2Firecrawl scrapes the target pricing page and extracts each plan's numeric price.
- 3The flow loads the last recorded prices from Coda.
- 4A logic step compares per-plan amounts and proceeds only if any price decreased.
- 5The new prices are saved back to Coda.
- 6An urgent Slack alert is posted to the pricing-response channel with the old and new amounts and percent change.
