Inbox-Zero Triage: VIP and Urgent Email Escalation to Slack
Scores each new email for sender importance and urgency, and pings a Slack channel with a summary and one-click reply suggestion when a VIP or time-sensitive message lands…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew email received in GmailGmail
- ActionScore importance and urgency with OpenAIOpenAI
- LogicBranch: alert only if above threshold
- ActionDraft suggested reply with OpenAIOpenAI
- ActionLabel urgent thread in GmailGmail
- OutputPost summary and suggested reply to SlackSlack
What it does
Separates the genuinely urgent from the routine. Every incoming email is scored on sender importance and time-sensitivity. When a message crosses the threshold, it is summarized and posted to a Slack channel with the key ask and a suggested reply, so the right person sees it in seconds instead of digging through a flooded inbox.
When to use it
Use it when missing one important email is far more costly than over-processing the rest. Built for operators and founders who cannot watch the inbox all day but must not let a VIP customer, investor, or escalation sit unanswered.
How it works
- 1A new email arrives in Gmail and triggers the flow.
- 2OpenAI scores sender importance and urgency and writes a one-line summary.
- 3A branch drops anything below the alert threshold.
- 4For high-priority mail, OpenAI drafts a suggested reply.
- 5A Slack message posts the summary, sender, and suggested reply to the chosen channel.
- 6The same urgent thread is labeled in Gmail so it is easy to find later.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
