What it does

It treats a defined sector peer group as a single unit, sweeping Brave Search across every name in the group for new regulatory filings, then classifying each hit by event type (guidance change, litigation, governance, capital action) and a severity tier. Every finding is written to an Airtable tracker as a structured row keyed by issuer and filing date.

When to use it

Use it when you cover a sector rather than a single name and want one tabular source of truth showing which peers filed what, when, and how serious it was. It turns scattered filings into a sortable, filterable coverage grid.

How it works

  1. 1A daily schedule fires after the typical filing cutoff.
  2. 2Brave Search runs once per peer in the configured sector group, returning candidate filing URLs.
  3. 3A logic step deduplicates against rows already in Airtable so only new filings advance.
  4. 4OpenAI classifies each filing by event type and assigns a severity tier with a short summary.
  5. 5Airtable upserts a row per filing: issuer, type, severity, summary, and source link.
