Post-Call CRM Update with Drafted Follow-Up Email
After a sales call ends, updates the Salesforce opportunity with extracted details and drafts a personalized follow-up email in Gmail for the rep to review and send.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerZoom recording completedZoom
- ActionFetch transcriptZoom
- ActionExtract outcome and next stepOpenAI
- LogicMatch and update opportunitySalesforce
- ActionCompose follow-up emailOpenAI
- OutputSave Gmail draft for reviewGmail
What it does
Closes the loop after a call in one pass: it logs the structured outcome to Salesforce and writes the follow-up email the rep would have written anyway. The draft references what was actually discussed and the agreed next step, so the rep just reviews and hits send.
When to use it
Use it when reps lose momentum because post-call admin and writing follow-ups eat their selling time. This collapses both into a single automated step that keeps a human in the loop on the outgoing message.
How it works
- 1A Zoom recording-completed event triggers the flow.
- 2The transcript is fetched from Zoom.
- 3An OpenAI step extracts the call outcome, next step, and key talking points.
- 4A logic step matches the call to a Salesforce opportunity and updates its stage and notes.
- 5A second OpenAI step composes a personalized follow-up email referencing the discussion.
- 6It saves the email as a Gmail draft addressed to the prospect for the rep to review and send.
