Block incomplete handoffs and reply in-thread with what's missing
Before a Front handoff conversation moves to CSM, this checks Salesforce for required fields and posts a comment listing exactly what the AE still needs to fill.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerConversation moved to "Ready for handoff" inboxFront
- ActionResolve linked Salesforce OpportunitySalesforce
- LogicCheck required handoff fields are complete
- ActionIf incomplete: comment gaps and tag AEFront
- OutputIf complete: assign to CSM and tag handoff-readyFront
What it does
Enforces a handoff readiness checklist so half-baked deals never reach the CSM queue. It validates the Salesforce Opportunity against your required fields and, if anything is missing, replies inside the Front conversation telling the AE precisely what to fix.
When to use it
Use it when CSMs keep getting handoffs missing contract terms, primary contacts, or stated success metrics. It shifts the chase-down work back to the AE automatically instead of in a status meeting.
How it works
- 1The AE moves a conversation into the Front "Ready for handoff" inbox, firing the trigger.
- 2The flow resolves the linked Salesforce Opportunity from the conversation's account.
- 3A logic step checks required fields: close date, ARR, product, primary economic buyer, and success criteria.
- 4If fields are missing, it posts an internal Front comment listing the gaps and tags the AE, then stops.
- 5If everything is present, it assigns the conversation to the CSM rotation and applies a "handoff-ready" tag.
- 6It posts a confirmation comment so everyone sees the deal cleared the gate.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
