Closed Deal to Monday Onboarding Board with Data-Completeness Gate
On a closed Salesforce deal, this checks that required onboarding fields are present; if complete it builds the Monday board and emails the customer, otherwise it flags the rep…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerSalesforce opportunity marked Closed WonSalesforce
- ActionRead onboarding-critical fieldsSalesforce
- LogicGate: all required fields present?
- ActionIncomplete: Slack the rep the missing fieldsSlack
- ActionComplete: build Monday onboarding boardmonday.com
- OutputEmail customer kickoff welcomeGmail
What it does
Stops half-baked handoffs before they reach the customer. When a Salesforce deal closes, the workflow verifies the onboarding-critical fields exist — billing contact, implementation scope, go-live date, technical owner. If everything is there, it builds the Monday.com onboarding board and emails the customer. If fields are missing, it holds the handoff and pings the rep in Slack with exactly what to fix.
When to use it
Use this when premature handoffs create messy first impressions — CSMs reaching out without a go-live date, or kickoffs scheduled before scope is known. The completeness gate enforces a clean baton pass every time.
How it works
- 1A Salesforce opportunity is marked Closed Won, triggering the flow.
- 2The flow reads the onboarding-critical fields off the opportunity and account.
- 3A logic gate checks every required field is populated.
- 4If incomplete: it posts a Slack alert to the rep listing the missing fields and stops.
- 5If complete: it creates the Monday onboarding board populated with the deal data.
- 6It emails the customer their kickoff welcome and next steps.
