Reopen Quote on Prospect Reply
Listens for inbound prospect replies on an expired quote thread, verifies the quote really lapsed, regenerates fresh renewal terms in Salesforce.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerInbound reply on quote threadGmail
- ActionLook up matching quoteSalesforce
- LogicConfirm expired, not reopened
- ActionGenerate renewed quote termsSalesforce
- OutputAlert owning rep in SlackSlack
What it does
When a prospect replies to an email tied to a quote that already expired, this workflow treats it as a buying signal and reopens the deal. It confirms the referenced quote is genuinely past expiry, builds a new proposal with refreshed validity and pricing in Salesforce, and immediately pings the account owner in Slack with the reply and the regenerated terms so they can respond fast.
When to use it
Use this when prospects sometimes resurface after a quote lapses and you don't want that intent to sit unread in an inbox. It converts a late reply into an instant, owner-ready re-engagement.
How it works
- 1An inbound Gmail message on a tracked quote thread triggers the workflow.
- 2The matching quote is looked up in Salesforce by thread or quote reference.
- 3A filter confirms the quote is expired and not already reopened, dropping unrelated replies.
- 4Salesforce generates a renewed quote with updated terms and a new expiry date.
- 5A Slack alert goes to the opportunity owner with the prospect's message and renewed quote link.
