Expired-Quote Renewal Term Drafter
Detects Salesforce quotes that passed their expiration date without being signed, drafts fresh renewal terms with updated pricing.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily schedule fires
- ActionQuery expired unsigned quotesSalesforce
- LogicSkip Closed Lost opportunities
- ActionDraft renewal terms and pricingOpenAI
- ActionEmail renewal to primary contactGmail
- OutputLog renewal Task on opportunitySalesforce
What it does
Scans your Salesforce quotes on a schedule, finds ones whose expiration date has passed while the status is still unsigned, and revives them. For each stalled quote it generates a new proposal with refreshed validity dates and current list pricing, sends a personalized renewal email to the primary contact, and writes the activity back onto the opportunity so reps see the re-engagement in their pipeline.
When to use it
Use this when proposals routinely go cold past their expiry window and nobody manually chases them. It recovers revenue that would otherwise silently lapse and keeps the CRM honest about which deals are actually still alive.
How it works
- 1A daily schedule fires the workflow.
- 2Salesforce is queried for quotes where expiration date is in the past and status is not Accepted or Closed.
- 3A filter drops quotes whose opportunity is already Closed Lost so you don't pester dead deals.
- 4An AI step drafts renewal terms: new 30-day validity, current pricing, and a short personalized note referencing the original line items.
- 5Gmail sends the renewal email to the quote's primary contact.
- 6Salesforce logs a Task on the opportunity recording the renewal touch and new expiry.
