What it does

Monitors Stripe-issued quotes that reached their expiration without a completed payment, then runs a graduated re-engagement sequence. It distinguishes between quotes that just lapsed (gentle reminder) and ones already past a second reminder (final notice plus human escalation). When automated nudges run out, it hands the deal to a salesperson in Slack instead of letting it die quietly.

When to use it

Ideal for self-serve or PLG motions where quotes are sent through Stripe and conversion depends on timely follow-up. Use it to stop high-intent prospects from slipping away after the quote window closes.

How it works

  1. 1Stripe fires an event when a quote moves to canceled or expired status.
  2. 2A branch checks how many reminders this customer has already received via stored metadata.
  3. 3First lapse: an email is sent offering a regenerated quote with a fresh deadline.
  4. 4Already reminded once: a final-notice email goes out flagging that the offer is closing.
  5. 5After the final notice, the deal and customer details are posted to the sales Slack channel for manual outreach.
