  • OutputPost outcome to sales SlackSlack

What it does

Turns raw website form posts into clean Salesforce records. Incoming submissions are matched against existing leads and contacts by email so you never create duplicates; new prospects get enriched and inserted, known ones get their activity logged.

When to use it

Use this when your marketing site posts demo or contact-us forms and you need them in Salesforce instantly, without the duplicate sprawl that comes from re-submissions and returning visitors.

How it works

  1. 1The website form posts the submission to an inbound webhook, firing the trigger.
  2. 2A Salesforce lookup searches existing leads and contacts by the submitted email.
  3. 3A logic branch decides: existing record versus net-new prospect.
  4. 4For net-new, an enrichment call adds company and title data, then a Salesforce Lead is created; for existing, the record is updated with the new form activity.
  5. 5The outcome (created or matched) is posted to the sales Slack channel with the record link.
