What it does

Closes the loop on macro proposals. Once a teammate marks a drafted macro as Approved in Coda, this workflow creates that macro in Front automatically, so an approval turns into a usable saved reply without anyone copy-pasting between tools.

When to use it

Pair it with a detector that files macro drafts into Coda. Use it when you want approvals to publish themselves and keep a clean audit trail of who approved what and when.

How it works

  1. 1The workflow triggers when a Coda row's status changes to Approved.
  2. 2A logic step validates the row has a title and body and has not already been published.
  3. 3An OpenAI step does a final polish pass for tone and formatting consistency with your other macros.
  4. 4The macro is created in Front via the API and the new macro ID is written back to the Coda row.
  5. 5A Slack message announces the live macro and links to it so agents can start using it immediately.
