How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerFront conversation tagged 'bug'Front
  • ActionExtract error signature and time windowOpenAI
  • ActionSearch Sentry for matching eventsSentrySentry
  • ActionCreate Linear issue with repro + Sentry evidenceLinearLinear
  • OutputPost issue link to FrontFront

What it does

Bridges what the customer said with what the system actually threw. When a Front conversation is tagged as a bug, the workflow extracts error symptoms and timestamps from the thread, searches Sentry for matching events, and files a Linear issue that contains both the customer's reproduction steps and the linked Sentry stack trace and occurrence count.

When to use it

Use it when engineers waste time asking 'can you reproduce it?' for bugs that are already captured in Sentry. This hands them the exact event link up front, so triage starts with real telemetry instead of a vague report.

How it works

  1. 1A Front rule triggers on the `bug` tag.
  2. 2The conversation is fetched and an OpenAI call extracts error text, affected feature, and an approximate time window.
  3. 3The workflow queries Sentry for events matching that signature and window.
  4. 4A Linear issue is created combining the LLM-extracted repro steps, the customer link, and the top matching Sentry event URL with its event count.
  5. 5The Linear issue link is posted back as an internal Front comment.
