Enrich Discord bug reports with Sentry errors before filing in Linear
Takes a Discord bug report, has an LLM pull out likely error signatures, searches Sentry for matching events.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew bug report in Discord channelDiscord
- ActionExtract repro steps and error signatures with LLMOpenAI
- ActionSearch Sentry for matching error eventsSentry
- LogicCheck whether a relevant Sentry issue was found
- ActionCreate Linear issue merging repro steps and Sentry dataLinear
- OutputReply in Discord thread with the Linear issue linkDiscord
What it does
Bridges user-reported bugs with the telemetry that confirms them. From a Discord report, an LLM derives candidate error messages and affected areas, the flow queries Sentry for matching issues, and it builds a Linear ticket that combines the user's repro steps with the real Sentry stack trace, event count, and a direct Sentry link. Triagers get a developer-ready issue instead of a vague complaint.
When to use it
Use it when you run Sentry and want bug reports backed by evidence. It turns 'the app crashed' into an issue carrying the exact exception and how many users hit it, so engineers can prioritize and start debugging immediately.
How it works
- 1A new Discord bug report triggers the flow.
- 2An OpenAI call extracts repro steps and likely error signatures.
- 3The flow searches Sentry for issues matching those signatures.
- 4A logic step checks whether a relevant Sentry issue was found.
- 5A Linear issue is created, merging the repro checklist with any Sentry stack trace, frequency, and link.
- 6The flow replies in the Discord thread with the Linear issue URL.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DiscordCommunity channels + voice + bots.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect SentryErrors, performance, releases.
- 4Connect LinearIssues, projects, cycles, triage.
- 5Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 6Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 7Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
