Narrate Trello cards with their PDF attachments included
When a card is moved to 'Audio Queue', it reads both the card body and any attached PDFs from Dropbox, merges them into one OpenAI-written script, voices it with ElevenLabs.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerCard moved to 'Audio Queue' listTrello
- ActionFetch and extract attached PDFsDropbox
- LogicSkip oversized or confidential files
- ActionMerge body and documents into a scriptOpenAI
- ActionSynthesize narration MP3ElevenLabs
- OutputSave MP3 and transcript to DropboxDropbox
What it does
Creates a complete audio brief that includes a card's attachments, not just its description. It pulls any PDFs linked or attached to the card from Dropbox, extracts their text, and folds it together with the card body into a single coherent OpenAI script. ElevenLabs narrates the result, and both the MP3 and a text transcript are saved to Dropbox.
When to use it
Use it when research cards point to source documents — papers, reports, briefs — and a body-only reading would miss the substance. Good for due-diligence, literature review, and policy tracking workflows.
How it works
- 1A card is moved into the 'Audio Queue' list (trigger).
- 2Dropbox returns the text of each PDF attached to or linked from the card.
- 3A logic step skips files over a page limit or flagged confidential.
- 4OpenAI merges the card body and extracted document text into one narration script with section breaks.
- 5ElevenLabs synthesizes the script into an MP3.
- 6The MP3 and the script transcript are written to a Dropbox folder named for the card.
