Trello research card to commute audio brief in Dropbox
When a Trello card is moved to a 'Ready to Listen' list, it condenses the long card body into a clean spoken script, generates an ElevenLabs voice file.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerCard moved to 'Ready to Listen' listTrello
- ActionRewrite card body into spoken scriptOpenAI
- ActionSynthesize narration MP3ElevenLabs
- ActionUpload MP3 to dated Dropbox folderDropbox
- OutputPost Dropbox link back to Trello cardTrello
What it does
Turns long-form research cards in Trello into ready-to-play audio briefs. When you flag a card for listening, the workflow rewrites its dense body into natural narration, synthesizes speech with ElevenLabs, and files the finished MP3 in Dropbox so it is waiting on your phone for the drive home.
When to use it
Use it when your team collects research, meeting notes, or article summaries as Trello cards and you would rather listen than read. Ideal for analysts, founders, and product leads with long commutes who want to clear their reading backlog hands-free.
How it works
- 1A Trello card is moved into the 'Ready to Listen' list (trigger).
- 2OpenAI rewrites the card title and description into a spoken-word script, expanding abbreviations and adding intro/outro framing.
- 3ElevenLabs synthesizes the script into an MP3 using your chosen narrator voice.
- 4The MP3 is uploaded to a date-stamped Dropbox folder (e.g. /Audio Briefs/2026-06-16/).
- 5A comment with the Dropbox link is posted back on the Trello card so the archive is traceable.
