INVOICE PROCESSING
Real-Time Amount-Mismatch Alert From an Inbound Statement Webhook
Accepts a vendor statement pushed via webhook, compares each line's billed amount against the matching invoice total in Airtable.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerStatement payload received via webhookHTTP webhook
- ActionFetch matching invoice records from AirtableAirtable
- LogicCompute billed vs. expected amount delta
- LogicFilter lines exceeding tolerance threshold
- OutputAlert AP team in Microsoft TeamsMicrosoft Teams
What it does
For vendors or AP portals that POST statement data directly, this validates billed amounts in real time. It receives the statement payload, matches each invoice number to your Airtable invoice register, and computes the dollar delta. Any line whose difference exceeds a configurable tolerance is flagged immediately and pushed to the AP team in Microsoft Teams with the expected vs. billed figures, so overcharges are caught before payment runs.
When to use it
Use this when a vendor system or middleware can call a webhook and you want amount disputes caught instantly rather than at month-end. The tolerance lets you ignore rounding noise while catching real overbilling.
How it works
- 1An inbound webhook delivers the structured statement payload.
- 2For each invoice number, the matching record is fetched from Airtable.
- 3A logic step computes billed-minus-expected for every line.
- 4Lines exceeding the tolerance threshold are filtered through.
- 5A Teams message is posted listing each mismatched invoice with expected and billed amounts.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect HTTP webhookTrigger any URL on agent actions.
- 2Connect AirtableBases, tables, views, automations.
- 3Connect Microsoft TeamsChannels, chats, files.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.

When a new invoice can't be cleared by exact-match rules, an AI agent reviews paid history for near-duplicates (split bills, renamed vendors, rounding) and recommends pay, hold…
Gate invoice approvals on a duplicate cross-check
When an approver clicks Approve in your AP system, a webhook re-validates the invoice against paid history in Postgres and Stripe charges.
