AI AGENTS
Discord moderation appeal intake and recommendation
When a banned or muted member submits an appeal form, an agent pulls the original case, weighs the appeal against the rationale on file.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerAppeal form submitted via webhookHTTP webhook
- ActionRetrieve original case + rationaleDiscord
- LogicSeparate out-of-policy appeals from those with merit
- ActionAgent drafts uphold/reduce/reinstate recommendation
- OutputPost recommendation to moderator review threadDiscord
What it does
Handles the other side of moderation: appeals. When a member contests a sanction via a webhook-backed appeal form, the agent retrieves the original decision and rationale, reads the member's argument, and drafts a recommendation — uphold, reduce, or reinstate — with reasoning that references the original case. A moderator makes the final call.
When to use it
Use it when appeals are piling up and each one requires digging through old threads to reconstruct what happened. This bundles the original case and the new argument into one reviewable recommendation, keeping appeals consistent and fast without auto-reversing any human decision.
How it works
- 1An appeal form submission hits an HTTP webhook, triggering the run.
- 2The agent looks up the original moderation case and rationale tied to the member.
- 3It reads the appeal text and weighs it against the recorded violation.
- 4Logic separates clearly out-of-policy appeals from those with merit.
- 5The agent drafts an uphold/reduce/reinstate recommendation with reasoning.
- 6It posts the recommendation to a Discord moderator review thread for sign-off.

A webhook from a Datadog monitor fires when custom-metric cardinality jumps; an agent pinpoints the offending metric and tag, estimates the added cost.

When a Sentry issue is resolved, the agent finds the matching Confluence runbook page and proposes an inline update with the verified fix.
Stale Doc-PR Chaser for Runbook Gaps
On a daily schedule the agent finds runbook doc PRs that were opened from resolved incidents but never reviewed, summarizes what each one fixes.
Resolved Incident to Public Troubleshooting Doc
For customer-facing errors resolved in Sentry, the agent drafts a sanitized troubleshooting entry and opens a PR to your ReadMe documentation.
On-Call Runbook Gap Closer: Resolved Sentry Issues to Doc PRs
An agent reads each newly resolved Sentry issue, compares the actual fix against your existing runbook, and opens a GitHub PR adding the missing remediation steps.
Weekly On-Call Doc-Gap Digest
Each week the agent reviews every Sentry issue resolved in the last 7 days, ranks the ones whose runbook coverage is missing or thin.
