AI AGENTS
Discord FAQ Deflection Agent from Pinned Docs
Watches a Discord support channel, drafts an answer from your pinned Notion docs when the question is covered, and posts a clearly-labeled AI reply.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew message in Discord support channelDiscord
- ActionFetch pinned knowledge-base pages from NotionNotion
- LogicIs the question covered by the docs?
- ActionPost labeled AI answer with source link in channelDiscord
- OutputEscalate unknowns to a moderator threadDiscord
What it does
This agent reads every new question in your Discord help channel, looks up the answer in your team's Notion knowledge base, and either replies in-channel with a sourced draft or hands the question off to your mods. It deflects the repetitive "how do I reset my key?" questions so humans only see the genuinely new ones.
When to use it
Run this in any community where the same setup, billing, or troubleshooting questions get asked daily and your moderators are drowning. Best when you already maintain a Notion doc set that you'd point people to anyway.
How it works
- 1A new message arrives in the watched Discord support channel and fires the trigger.
- 2The agent pulls the current Notion knowledge-base pages so it answers from live docs, not stale training data.
- 3A confidence check decides: is this question actually covered by the docs?
- 4If yes, it posts a labeled AI reply in the channel with a link to the source page.
- 5If no, it opens a moderator escalation thread and pings the mod role with the unanswered question.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DiscordCommunity channels + voice + bots.
- 2Connect NotionPages, databases, comments.
- 3Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
