What it does
This is a two-tier answering agent for Discord. It tries your Confluence docs first; if nothing matches, instead of giving up it searches the public web with Brave and drafts a clearly-flagged "unverified" answer so the member gets something useful immediately, while still nudging a mod to confirm.
When to use it
Use this for fast-moving products where your docs always lag reality, or for open-source communities where half the answers live in upstream changelogs and blog posts, not your own wiki.
How it works
- 1A member posts a question in the Discord help channel, firing the trigger.
- 2The agent searches your Confluence space for a matching answer.
- 3A branch checks whether Confluence returned a confident match.
- 4If matched, it replies with the doc answer and a citation link.
- 5If not matched, it runs a Brave web search and drafts a best-effort answer labeled "unverified — pending mod review."
- 6Either way the unverified path posts to a mod review thread so a human can confirm or correct it.
