AI AGENTS
Discord New-Member First-Post Spam Gate
When a recently joined member posts their first messages, the agent scores them for scam and spam patterns, auto-removes obvious offenders.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew member posts an early messageDiscord
- ActionAgent scores message for spam/scam signals
- LogicBranch on risk: high / borderline / clean
- ActionDelete and log high-risk messagesDiscord
- OutputRoute borderline cases to mod approval threadDiscord
What it does
Guards the front door against drive-by spam and crypto scams. For members still inside their probation window, the agent scores each early message for known spam signals (link bait, impersonation, mass-DM lures), deletes clear-cut violations on the spot, and escalates anything ambiguous instead of guessing.
When to use it
When your server gets waves of throwaway accounts posting scam links the moment they join. Use this to clean up the obvious attacks automatically while still giving genuine new members a fair, human-reviewed path when the signal is mixed.
How it works
- 1A Discord message-create event fires from a member inside their first-N-days window.
- 2The agent scores the message against scam and spam heuristics and recent-join behavior.
- 3A branch routes on the risk score: high, borderline, or clean.
- 4High-risk messages are deleted and the action is logged to Postgres.
- 5Borderline cases post to a mod approval thread with the message and reasoning; clean messages pass through untouched.
