How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerComparison request received via webhookHTTP webhook
  • ActionRetrieve both plan documents from ConfluenceConfluenceConfluence
  • ActionPull supplementary coverage notes from NotionNotionNotion
  • ActionExtract and normalize coverage fields with OpenAIOpenAI
  • OutputPublish side-by-side comparison to NotionNotionNotion

What it does

Takes a request to compare two benefits plans by name (for example "PPO vs. HDHP") and generates a clean, structured comparison covering premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, network rules, and key exclusions, sourced only from the official plan documents.

When to use it

When employees keep asking "which plan is better for me?" and HR wants a reusable, document-grounded comparison instead of hand-built spreadsheets. Ideal when plan details are scattered across Confluence SPDs and Notion benefits pages and you want a publishable artifact.

How it works

  1. 1A request arrives via webhook naming the two plans to compare.
  2. 2The workflow retrieves each plan's full document set from Confluence.
  3. 3It pulls any supplementary coverage notes for those plans from Notion.
  4. 4OpenAI extracts matched coverage fields and builds a normalized side-by-side table, flagging any field missing from a source.
  5. 5The finished comparison is written back to a Notion page and the page link is returned in the webhook response.
