What it does

Turns abstract freshness scores into actionable work. Once a week it scans the freshness grades already written onto Coda pages, picks the ones below your bar, and creates a Linear issue for each stale page (or updates the existing one) with the score, the reason it decayed, and a deep link. Priority is set from how far below the bar each page sits.

When to use it

Use it when grading alone isn't moving the needle and you need stale docs to show up in a team's sprint planning. Ideal for docs teams or platform groups that triage work in Linear.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule fires the run.
  2. 2The flow reads freshness grades from all pages in the target Coda doc.
  3. 3A filter keeps only pages scoring below the freshness threshold.
  4. 4For each, a priority is derived from the size of the gap.
  5. 5A Linear issue is created or updated (deduped by page id) with score, reason, link, and priority.
  6. 6A summary of issues filed is posted back as a Coda row in a backlog tracker.
