How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerMonthly close-day schedule
  • ActionRead all period card charges from AirtableAirtableAirtable
  • LogicAggregate coverage and rank gaps by cardholder + department
  • ActionWrite coverage snapshot to Airtable reporting tableAirtableAirtable
  • OutputEmail ranked coverage report to finance lead via OutlookOutlook

What it does

On a close-day schedule it rolls up the entire corporate-card ledger for the period: total spend, documented spend, and missing-receipt exposure broken out by cardholder and department. It produces a coverage percentage and a ranked list of the biggest gaps, then delivers it to the finance lead.

When to use it

Run it at month-end to know exactly where documentation stands before you book the expense and to hand auditors a clean coverage figure. Replaces the manual pivot table finance rebuilds every period.

How it works

  1. 1A monthly close-day schedule triggers the run.
  2. 2The workflow reads all card charges for the period from Airtable.
  3. 3It aggregates documented vs. missing amounts and computes coverage by cardholder and department.
  4. 4A logic step ranks the largest open gaps and flags departments below the coverage target.
  5. 5The summary is written to a reporting table in Airtable for history.
  6. 6An Outlook email with the ranked coverage report goes to the finance lead.
