What it does

This is an agent-driven triage that goes beyond similarity scoring. For each new ClickUp ticket, the agent investigates related and historically resolved tickets, weighs whether the new report is a true duplicate, a related-but-distinct issue, or genuinely new, and writes a linked-context brief with a clear recommendation and rationale before any merge happens.

When to use it

Use this for high-stakes or nuanced queues where a naive similarity match produces false merges, and you want reasoning over duplicate-versus-related distinctions plus surfaced historical fixes.

How it works

  1. 1A ClickUp task-created webhook starts the agent.
  2. 2The agent searches ClickUp for related and previously resolved tickets to build context.
  3. 3The agent reasons over the evidence using OpenAI, deciding merge, link, or keep-separate with justification.
  4. 4A logic step routes the outcome by the agent's recommendation.
  5. 5The flow writes the linked-context brief and recommendation onto the ClickUp task for a human to action.

Set it up

What you configure once, before turning it on.

  1. 1
Connect ClickUpDocs + tasks + chats in one workspace.
  2. 2
    Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
  3. 3
Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
  4. 4
Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
  5. 5
Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
