Escalate critical asset failures to on-call facilities staff
When a new work order is logged in Airtable against a critical asset, it pages the on-call facilities engineer and opens a high-priority Trello card so emergency repairs start…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew work order logged in AirtableAirtable
- LogicFilter to critical-asset failures
- ActionOpen PagerDuty incident for on-callPagerDuty
- ActionCreate high-priority Trello cardTrello
- OutputPost escalation summary to SlackSlack
What it does
Watches the work-order log for failures on assets flagged as life-safety or business-critical (elevators, boilers, fire panels) and immediately escalates them, bypassing normal queues.
When to use it
Use it for buildings where certain asset outages carry tight response SLAs and can't wait for someone to notice a Trello board. It guarantees a human is paged the moment a critical request lands, day or night.
How it works
- 1The flow triggers on a new Airtable work-order row.
- 2A branch checks the asset's criticality flag and severity; non-critical rows exit early.
- 3For critical failures, a PagerDuty incident is opened with the asset, building, and reported fault.
- 4A high-priority Trello card is created and pinned to the top of the emergency board.
- 5A summary with the incident link and SLA clock is posted to the facilities Slack channel.
