Reconcile each Stripe payout against the Snowflake ledger
On every Stripe payout, match it to the corresponding bank-deposit row in Snowflake, flag any amount or timing mismatch, and log the reconciled cash position to Airtable.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerStripe payout.paid eventStripe
- ActionQuery matching deposit in Snowflake ledgerSnowflake
- LogicCompare amount + date; reconcile or flag
- ActionLog reconciled line to AirtableAirtable
- OutputPost mismatch alert to SlackSlack
What it does
This workflow keeps your cash records honest payout by payout. When Stripe reports a payout paid, it looks up the matching deposit in the Snowflake ledger, compares amount and settlement date, and decides whether they reconcile. Clean matches are logged to an Airtable cash ledger with the running balance updated. Mismatches (amount off, missing deposit, or a stale date) are flagged to Slack so someone can investigate before the discrepancy compounds into a wrong runway number.
When to use it
Use it when Stripe is a major cash source and you've been burned by payouts that didn't match the bank feed. Good for teams who want every inflow reconciled automatically rather than chased at month-end close.
How it works
- 1Stripe emits a `payout.paid` event.
- 2The workflow queries Snowflake for the matching bank-deposit row.
- 3It compares payout amount and date against the ledger entry.
- 4On a clean match, the reconciled line and new balance are written to Airtable.
- 5On a mismatch, a flagged alert with both records is posted to Slack.
