Nightly duplicate-cluster digest for Front inboxes
On a nightly schedule, it pulls the day's open Front conversations, clusters them by semantic similarity.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNightly schedule
- ActionFetch open Front conversations (24h)Front
- ActionEmbed and store conversationsOpenAI
- ActionCluster by similarity in PostgresPostgres
- LogicDrop singletons, rank clusters by size
- OutputPost duplicate-cluster digest to SlackSlack
What it does
Once a night this workflow scans all open Front conversations from the trailing 24 hours, groups them into clusters of likely duplicates, and sends support leads a ranked digest in Slack showing each cluster, its size, and a representative subject line.
When to use it
Use it when you'd rather review duplicates in one batch than get interrupted per-ticket. Good for teams that triage in a morning standup and want a single "here's what to merge today" list.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger runs every night after business hours.
- 2The workflow fetches open conversations updated in the last 24 hours from Front.
- 3OpenAI embeds each conversation's subject and opening message.
- 4A Postgres step stores the embeddings and runs a similarity grouping query to form clusters above threshold.
- 5A logic step drops singleton clusters and ranks the rest by member count.
- 6OpenAI writes a one-line label for each cluster describing the shared issue.
- 7The workflow posts the ranked digest to a Slack channel with deep links into each Front conversation.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect FrontShared inbox, conversations.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect PostgresAny Postgres URL — query, write, migrate.
- 4Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 5Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 6Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 7Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
