FX Concentration Spike Escalation
Twice daily it measures single-currency concentration in receivables from Snowflake.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerTwice-daily schedule
- ActionQuery open receivables from SnowflakeSnowflake
- LogicFind top currency share vs critical ceiling
- ActionOpen PagerDuty incident on breachPagerDuty
- OutputPost supporting detail to treasury SlackSlack
What it does
This workflow treats a sudden spike in single-currency concentration as an operational risk event. It reads open receivables from Snowflake, computes each currency's share of total exposure, and compares the top currency's share against both its prior reading and a critical ceiling. When concentration jumps past the ceiling it opens a PagerDuty incident so the on-call treasury owner is paged, and it posts the supporting numbers to Slack so the rest of the desk has context.
When to use it
Use it when over-concentration in one currency is a genuine risk event worth paging on, not just a digest line. It fits teams that already route financial-risk alerts through PagerDuty.
How it works
- 1A twice-daily schedule triggers the run.
- 2It queries Snowflake for open receivables and computes per-currency exposure shares.
- 3A logic step finds the most concentrated currency and compares its share to the prior reading and the critical ceiling.
- 4If the ceiling is breached, it opens a PagerDuty incident with the currency, share, and jump size.
- 5It posts the same detail to the treasury Slack channel for visibility.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect SnowflakeWarehouses, queries, shares.
- 2Connect PagerDutyIncidents, on-call, escalations.
- 3Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
