Weekly FX Hedge-Coverage Brief
Compiles a weekly hedge-coverage report from Snowflake exposure and hedge data, calculates coverage ratios per currency.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekly schedule before treasury review
- ActionJoin exposure and hedges for coverage ratiosSnowflake
- LogicClassify currencies by coverage status
- ActionRender formatted coverage brief
- OutputPublish brief to Notion treasury pageNotion
- OutputPost headline summary to SlackSlack
What it does
Once a week this workflow joins open receivables exposure with active hedge contracts in Snowflake, computes the hedge-coverage ratio for each currency, and flags any currency falling below its target coverage. It publishes a formatted brief to a Notion treasury page and drops a one-line summary in Slack so the team sees the headline without opening the doc.
When to use it
Use this for the recurring treasury review where leadership wants a clean coverage snapshot rather than per-event alerts. It standardizes the weekly report so nobody hand-builds it, and keeps a dated archive of coverage history in Notion.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule fires ahead of the treasury review.
- 2Snowflake joins exposure and active hedges, returning coverage per currency.
- 3A logic step classifies each currency as on-target, under-covered, or over-hedged.
- 4An action renders the brief with ratios, deltas, and flagged currencies.
- 5Notion receives the formatted page in the treasury workspace.
- 6Slack posts a headline summary linking to the new Notion page.
