Log Loom watch signals back to the HubSpot opportunity and alert on high intent
Listens for Loom view events, matches the viewer to a HubSpot contact, logs watch percentage and engagement on the opportunity.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerLoom video view eventLoom
- ActionMatch viewer to HubSpot contact + dealHubSpot
- LogicBranch on watch % vs intent threshold
- ActionLog engagement + update deal propertiesHubSpot
- OutputAlert deal owner on high intentSlack
What it does
This closes the loop on every Loom demo you send. When a prospect watches your video, Loom fires a view event; the workflow matches the viewer email to a HubSpot contact, writes the watch percentage and timestamp onto the associated deal as an engagement note, and updates a custom 'Last Demo Watched' property. If the prospect watched more than your threshold, it pings the deal owner in Slack so they strike while interest is hot.
When to use it
Use it when you send Loom demos and want watch behavior to drive real follow-up instead of disappearing into Loom's dashboard. High-intent views become an actionable, owner-routed signal.
How it works
- 1A Loom view-event webhook fires when a recipient watches a shared video.
- 2The viewer email is matched to a HubSpot contact and its associated deal.
- 3A branch checks watch percentage against your high-intent threshold.
- 4The watch event, percent, and timestamp are logged as a HubSpot engagement and written to deal properties.
- 5On high-intent views, the deal owner gets a Slack alert with the deal link and watch detail.
